Classes on Networking by NOVEL, Project with PASTEL SHADE on Embedded Technology, Project with CSI, ABSO Software Ltd. on CBT material development, Workshop on recent application on power electronics & drives, IBM Training on Mainframe, Student workshop on Current Research Trends, Student Workshop on Role of Simulation in Research, Student workshop in Frontier Technologies, Workshop on Design and Analysis of Microprocessor Applications.
Training and certification by HP on Wireless communication and Bluetooth technology.
RCC Institute of Information Technology (RCCIIT) was set up in 1999 by the erstwhile Regional Computer Centre (RCC), Calcutta (in JU) as a unique joint venture of NIC, Ministry of Communication & IT, Govt. of India and Dept. of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal. In 2003 the lead role of management of RCCIIT was transferred to the State Govt. from Govt. of India.
