Smart Bengal Hackathon (SBH) 2023 is a state-wide initiative to provide engineering and school students to solve some of the common problems we face in our daily life, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mind-set of real time problem solving. The event initiated by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), RCCIIT and organized as a part of the Institute’s annual event Techtrix 2023.

The event Smart Bengal Hackathon (SBH)-2023) was impossible for us without the efforts and valuable inputs from the faculties, staffs and students of the college. We are here extending our great gratitude and appreciation to the following persons with their memorial inputs that are very significant in making this event possible.

We are extremely grateful to our honorable, Minister-in-Charge, Mr. Babul Suprio, Dept. of Information Technology & Electronics & Dept. of Tourism, Govt. of West Bengal, for his gracious presence, inspiring talk and
inauguration of this event. We are thankful to Prof. (Dr.) Aloknath De, Chief Mentor, SBH, who has constantly motivated and supported us to conduct the event and inculcate knowledge amongst us, especially at the initiation and decision making of the event.

Next we really acknowledge our Principal (O), Prof. (Dr.) Anirban Mukherjee, for his continuous support and guidance in each and every stage for successfully organization of the event and We also recognize all HODs of the institute who have been very supportive to us and were always ready for solving any issue related to events.

We also acknowledge Coordinators & Joint Coordinator of the event Prof. (Dr.) Alok Kole and Dr. Hiranmoy Roy, who have been giving tremendous efforts by their professional and academic experience, fairness, and
responsiveness for organizing this event. We acknowledge the contribution of the institute Training & Placement Cell and Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) for promoting this event to the industries and arranging technical and financial sponsorship.

We also respect the contribution of other Teaching, non-Teaching and maintenance staffs of the institute also other external personal involved with decoration and catering in this event.
We appreciate our student Aritra Basu, CSE-4th Yr, Srinanda Das, CSE-3rdYr, Swastika Bose, CSE-2nd Yr, Arkaprava Munshi, IT-3rd Yr and all the student members of the SBH committee and Student Welfare committee for their whole hearted hard working for organization of this mega event.

Lastly thanks to the organizing team, Coordinators and Jt. Coordinators of the different sub-committee of the SBH and also the members of Students Affair & Student Welfare Committee (SASWC), RCCIIT, for sparing their valuable time and sincere effort to make the event successful.
